Removed the cir clip and pushed the pin out first with my finger and then with a screwdriver. Careful not to scratch anything. Pin slides out and falls to the floor. Piston in my hand. With one finger from my other hand push against the piston ring expanding it and pulling it up and over the crown of the piston. Removed the other piston ring, and the oil ring. They're small. Pistons. Feel small in my hand. The part of the engine that you just have to have faith in. Faith that that little piston is inside there beating it's little heart out and that you're going to make it to your destination. You can't see a piston work. Can't see a spark plug spark igniting an explosion that sends it revolving back and forth. So fast that if you could see it it would be a messy blur of fire thumping 30 times a second. But combustion only happens in a vacuum. Until you crack that engine open you just have to have faith that this little guy is in there. Beating it's little heart out.
